Wiktoria Godawa

Wiktoria Godawa is a young flutist and teacher based in Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from the West Chester University of Pennsylvania and recently completed her Suzuki Teacher certification. Wiktoria is a first year Master's student at Northwestern University, pursuing her Master of Music in Flute Performance. During her time at West Chester, she was an avid performer in the WCU Symphony Orchestra, WCU Wind Ensemble, WCU Chamber Winds, and the Pennsylvania Chamber Winds. She has had the opportunity to play for world renowned flutists including Jill Felber, Patrick Williams, Erica Peel, Elizabeth Rowe, Cynthia Meyers, and Carol Wincenc. She is currently studying under John Thorne, and has studied with Dr. Kimberly Reighley, Frances Tate, and Alice Kogan Weinreb.

Wiktoria's passions lie in performing chamber music from various time periods, studying orchestral repertoire, and teaching budding flutists. Since teaching her first private lesson over five years ago, Wiktoria has taught flutists ranging from elementary age to adulthood and inspired them to find their own joy within music. Her main goal has always been to pass on her excitement about music and the flute to all of her students, hoping that they find the same joy that she did.

When she is not practicing or teaching, Wiktoria loves to take care of her many house plants, read books, hang out with her flute friends, and spend time with her cat, Wolfgang. She is incredibly excited to join the Tutti Flutes community and looks forward to growing alongside her students and their families.
